    Advanced Social Security Strategies

The number of Americans who live to age 100 or greater increased 43 percent between 2000 and 2010 according to the Wall Street Journal. Those aging baby boomers are facing bigger challenges with the increased longevity and are facing issues with helping kids, grandkids and their parents financially.

Most are not doing the calculations to find out they haven't saved enough because they fear the number will be more than they can save in their remaining work life. It is projected that even 13 percent of the wealthiest retirees will run out of savings 20 years after retiring.

Advanced Social Security Strategies will examine current truths and a few myths about social security and how decisions baby boomers make in regards their social security will affect their retirement years. We will look at a couple of planning tools that you and your clients may not be aware of to help them maximize their social security income.
