Chuck Long

Chuck Long's name has been synonymous with University of Iowa football for thirty years. As a former player and coach, his combination of charm, charisma and a winning attitude has motivated hundreds of young athletes and influenced multitudes of fans across the state of Iowa and beyond.

Chuck was named Big Ten Player of the Year, received the Davey O'Brien Award (college player of the year), the Maxwell Award (the nation's best quarterback) and was named a first team Consensus All-American. Chuck was drafted in the first round (12th overall pick) of the 1986 NFL draft, spending eight seasons in the league with the Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Rams.

He began his coaching career in 1995 at his alma mater. Chuck was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1999 and is an inaugural member of the Kinnick Stadium Wall of Honor. He transitioned out of coaching in 2013 and is currently the CEO/Executive Director of the Iowa Sports Foundation and an analyst for the Big Ten Network.

John W. Wheeler, Dr., CFP®, CLU, ChFC, CRPC®, LUTCF

John Wheeler is the Executive Vice President of Chicago-based Water Tower Financial Partners, LLC. As a registered principal and financial advisor with MML Investor Services, LLC (MMLIS), and an extensive background in the financial services industry dating back to 1969, John supports his agency through seminars, advanced joint sales work, recruiting and the development of their financial planning endeavor.

Tom Hegna, ChFC, CLU, CASL 

Originally from Glenwood, Minnesota, Tom Hegna attended North Dakota State University on an Army ROTC scholarship and graduated with honors. He was commissioned in the U.S. Army, and spent six years on Active Duty and another 16.5 years in the U.S. Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2006. Tom has been a popular industry speaker for many years and is THE retirement income expert. As a former Fortune 100 senior executive, Tom has dedicated his entire career to helping retirees obtain a happily ever after retirement. He has been featured on FoxBusiness, American College Wealth Channel Magazine, Round the Table, Advisor Today and GAMA Magazine. 

Steve Chiavarone  

With more than 10 years of industry experience, Steve is currently responsible for portfolio management and research in the global asset allocation area at Federated. He serves on the Macro Economic Policy and PRISM Asset Allocation committees, which are responsible for formulating Federated's opinions about the market, as well as positioning strategies for the firm's investment products. Steve has contributed to CNBC's "Power Lunch", "Squawk Box" and "Worldwide Exchange" as well as the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, New York Times, Associated Press, Reuters, Bloomberg, and other publications.
